The strap across my toes is tight and my feet are a normal width and size, sometimes i can even wear a size 8 instead of a size 8.5. They seem comfortable enough but i dont know if the strap being tight as it is will interfere with what i bought them for, a wedding. I'll update my review later when I have a chance to wear them out.****UPDATE******I wore these out for the bachelorette party before the wedding and my feet didn't hurt at all, i wore them for hours. The tightness of the strap did not interfere with movement or make my feet hurt.
