I started out with the 02 fair ivory original. The shade matched perfectly and was light weight, covered my redness but gave my skin a natural look instead of a heavy masked look which I didn't want. I'm 41 and have mature skin so less looks better on me. The only thing was at work towards the end of my shift the bare minerals would wear off and look shinny or oily from sweating. So I decided to try the bare minerals powder matte. I love this powder. It has done wonders and does seem to last through my whole shift keeping the shine down. However, the first time I purchased the matte, I bought the same shade I used in the original, 02 fair ivory. It was too dark and looked kinda yellow on my face. Amazon did let me return it so I went a shade lighter and got 01 fair, matte. It seems to match closer to the 02 fair ivory original.
