Review: Actually drop temps - I got these to replace some old crusty pads on my graphics card and you can immediately tell the quality is way higher than the generic stuff because they are very soft and compress perfectly against the chips. Cutting them to size was pretty simple with a pair of sharp scissors and they have just enough tackiness to stay in place while you are trying to flip the heatsink back over without everything sliding around on you. After installing them I noticed my memory temperatures dropped by several degrees during heavy use so they definitely do a much better job at moving heat than the stock ones ever did. The only thing to watch out for is making sure you get the right thickness since they dont have much give if you go too thick but honestly for a quick thermal upgrade these are super reliable and worth it if you care about keeping your hardware running cool 😌

Managed to drop temps from 74C down to 55C on an ITX board, and 67C to 52C on an mATX board. Costs a few bucks, but highly recommended. Wasn't hard to apply, just try to use scissors and tweezers and remove one adhesive side at a time.

**Q: Will applying this to an RTX 3000 series void the 3 year warranty?**
A: I have an e - mail from EVGA tech support stating that replacing thermal pads would not void warranty, but causing any damage to the gpu during the process will void the warranty.  Send me your e mail if you want me to forward this e mail to you. Or contact EVGA tech support yours. Perhaps other manufacturers have different policies. So far I can only speak for my experience with EVGA.

**Q: Do you sell 2.5mm? if not, what would be preferable approach - getting 3mm and squeezing the hell out of them or stacking 2mm and 0.5?**
A: GELID does not produce a 2.5mm pad, however, all the GP-Extreme and GP-Ultimate pads, they are rated to compress up to 40%, so for every 1mm it can compress down to 0.6mm.
 (This is listed on the back of the items to confirm validity)

In the case of the 3mm pads, based on this rating, they should be well within this rating to compress down to 1.8mm of gap space, so a 3mm pad should fit snugly in the 2.5mm gap with compression to spare.

**Q: How many pads are included?**
A: One pad. 80x40 mm.

**Q: Can i use this for PS4 Pro?**
A: I don’t think it would help you. Best thing you could do is make sure the vents are clear of dust and maybe put new thermal paste on the cpu/gpu/apu. These pads are for memory cooling and I’m not sure the PS4 memory gets very hot, especially to the point where you would need these.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Pricy but good

I got these 1.5mm pads to re-pad a FE 3080 Ti. Hopefully this review shows up on all pad thicknesses as I originally purchased 2mm pads based online guides and videos. I got my card March 26 2022, it seems the heatsink has changed, see another review with the same hypothesis. The core was not making much contact to the heatsink with 2mm pads, memory temps were amazing but the core was thermal throttling at the desktop. I had used a manual spread method for the paste and only the very center about a dime size had made any contact. I ordered the 1.5mm pads and now I have memory temps about 15-20c cooler and the core peaks at 70c under full load. I used 3mm pads on the back but 2mm might work as I can see a bit of bulge on the backplate, I used a 1mm pad on the NVDD on the back as it seemed the stock super thin pad wasn’t making much contact after adding the 3mm pads. I had some trouble with a couple of the pads not wanting to stick, however most held in place, it seemed to be related to the material it was on, RAM and PCB had no issues, the NVDD didn’t stick very well, it was just a minor inconvenience though. I wish these pads were a bit cheaper especially considering I wasted money and time with the 2mm pads. At least they are cheaper than fujipoly pads
