The bent end makes it much easier to use and crimp correctly. The wire strippers are sharp and don't fray the copper like other strippers do. The cutting blades on these are very sharp and tight, no annoying gap for smaller wires to get caught in. These are small enough to keep in your pocket and can cut, strip, crimp, etc so you don't need to carry other tools. Where I work we are required to use Duraseal so I have yet to try them when soldering but I'm sure they'll work just as good. These are great for tight areas under the IP and for small wires.
