## Description

Polyvance's Padded Dash Filler is formulated from special polyester resins that increase adhesion to vinyl and other plastic substrates. Flexible resins are used to give the flexibility required to withstand the expansion and contraction brought about by extreme temperatures. It has excellent filling qualities with shaping, sanding and feather edging accomplished with ease. This makes an excellent filler for padded dash repair since the sanding is normally done by hand. Each can contains 8 fl. oz. (236 ml) of padded dash filler and comes with a 2 fl. oz. (59 ml) tube of cream hardener.

Review: Great for padded dash - A very good product to fill in cracks on a padded dash. Sands easily when cured. The container is small so the filler doesn’t go a long way if your dash has multiple deep cracks so will need to order more than 1 container.
Review: Dries too fast but is flexible and works - Like the description implies it dries incredibly fast it will start to gel up after about 2 minutes so you either have to work extremely fast or you have to make small batches there's really no instructions or anything so I kind of wish that they had either made it gel up slower or just included instructions saying work with a little bit at a time it does dry in a couple days completely and the stuff is flexible so for padded dash it works a lot better than Bondo it is kind of expensive however

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Would this stuff work on a large area of a worn boat seat cusion and remain soft?**
A: I am sure it will NOT work on the boat cushion. I did my dash and after one summer the dash began to crack again it the areas I repaired. It went on nice and looked good when it was done but just did not stand up to the heat. It is not flexible enough for a cushion. Why not go to an upholstery repair shop. I am sure an auto body repair shop in your area can recommend one.

**Q: MIne did not come with hardener. Can I use regular bondo hardener?**
A: Per the manufacturer, customer can use regular bondo hardener.

**Q: Could this be used as a filler for a foam steering wheel?**
A: Yes, but I think the density of this material would be a little higher than the steering wheel, but I think it would work.

**Q: Does this product come with the plastic welding rod?**
A: No, it only comes with the cream hardener.

A very good product to fill in cracks on a padded dash. Sands easily when cured. The container is small so the filler doesn’t go a long way if your dash has multiple deep cracks so will need to order more than 1 container.

Like the description implies it dries incredibly fast it will start to gel up after about 2 minutes so you either have to work extremely fast or you have to make small batches there's really no instructions or anything so I kind of wish that they had either made it gel up slower or just included instructions saying work with a little bit at a time it does dry in a couple days completely and the stuff is flexible so for padded dash it works a lot better than Bondo it is kind of expensive however

Great product. Similar to bondo but dries way more flexible. The key is not to use too much hardner when mixing else it will set super quick. It happened to me with my first batch. Another key point is, just like bondo. Spread it thin, it makes it easier to sand. I do think the quantity should be more, it is a small can. So until they make a larger can, buy two if you think your project may require a lot of. Plus buying more gives you room for mistakes like mixing and spreading.
