I don't remember the exact ferrule # for the hose.. may have to measure it.. I have it wrote down in my kit **Q: are there larger dies? I am looking for the .76 one (I thin it is #8 on the line)** A: Milton offers 2 additional dies, 7/16" and 13/16". **Q: We are looking to crimp a .310 od (.255 id) ferrule on to a .244 (1/4") dia multi layerd steel cable. will the tool crimp this diameter?** A: I’m not sure I have only used them on rubber air lines. **Q: The description says this product crimps ferrules on hose ranging from 1/4" single braid to 3/8" two braid hose. Is that I.D.dimension hose?** A: I believe those are IDs yes. The tool can do more than just crimp those hoses with those IDs.
