It isn't any better despite the incredibly high price, and it definitely is worse than many less expensive cooling pillows. I bought it because of the favorable reviews and now I wish I hadn't. The pillow itself is very thin, and kind of flat like a board. The cover is supposed to keep you cool, but after approximately 32 seconds it has absorbed enough heat from your body that it just feels hot to the head. It doesn't provide support your head at anywhere near the correct angle for a side sleeper, in fact you must put another pillow under it or else risk waking up with neck pain. I've slept on it for 4 nights and will definitely replace it as soon as I can. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great for people who sleep hot! *by D***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2019* I was looking for a memory foam style pillow that didn't cause me to over heat at night and then wake up. This has been a godsend. It's a medium firmness and supports my head. I tend to go from side to back sleeping and doesn't seem to be an issue. You may want to use a pillow case as it can get rather cold, even for me!
