Purchased this and it showed that they were indeed Moissanite. My old tester was purchased new in 2015 but the technology had already advanced in making new types of Moissanite that it was outdated. I am happy with this and hope they will not come out with even more improved Moissanite for many years/ Review: This is a great tester just wish it wasn’t so finicky about the stones having to be 100% clean. The slightest bit of dirt in a setting drops it’s accuracy down to 70%. Which can be annoying especially when your on the road.
