I have true duals into a flowmaster and the popping was annoying to me. Bought two of these tips and all I can say is WOW. The quality is great, finish is great, and they do work very well. Gave my 97 k1500 a deeper tone and greatly reduced the crackling
Review: Tamed the cat back beast - Very nice quality product from Borla. This replaced the stock non resonated tip on a Borla S type cat back system installed on my '06 Tacoma 4X4. The tip came polished to a chrome look. The inlet is 2.25" and the outside diameter is 4". The one I received was exactly 12" long and the one it replaced was 13" long so it is shorter sticking out the back. This exhaust tip really quieted down the roar. I got tired of having other vehicles try and race me since the Borla S type exhaust can be rather loud. The new sound is what I was looking for. Still throaty but subdued.

**Q: is there enough of a lip so i can use an exhaust clamp to clamp this on?**
A: Mine did not have any lip for a clamp. Weld on is a must.

A: i toned down my 66 Corvair Monza straight pipe headers enough but kept the throatee sound...

**Q: Would this fit on a 2001 V6 Ford Mustang?**
A: You need to know the size of your tailpipe. Take a ruler and measure the outside diameter of the pipe. If it's 2 1/4 inches the Borla will fit. It's that simple. Now go do it.

I have no cats, straight piped to the Borla ProXS muffler, then out to this tip with side exit exhaust. I chose this tip to reduce the popping sound having no cats causes. It worked beautifully and my exhaust note sounds awesome. Pretty sure I'm the only one with this set up, I like it alot.
