**Q: Does it make soy milk from dry beans, or do you have to soak the beans first?**
A: Soak first for 12 - 16hrs. Also once it has cooled drain it through a nut bag. A lot easier than making it by hand.

**Q: Does it make ordinary hot milk from milk powder and water?**
A: No idea never
 tried

**Q: does it make smoothies**
A: Yes, the instruction manual also includes recipes for making smoothies.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Makes great soya milk

I brought this for making soya milk and I am really pleased with my first batch. There is a special setting for this which takes away any guess work. Have also made soup which turned out great. It seems to be a robust piece of kit and I would recommend.

### ⭐ Don’t waste your money on this.

It worked perfectly about 3 times. One time the soup boiled over and out if the soup maker. What a bloody mess! Half the liquid pouring out rim the “sealed” lid... ugh. The next time it worked perfectly. The time after that the potatoes and leeks burnt the bottom of it and I’m still having a hell of a time trying to clean it. I have a specific diet and need to have soup often so thought this would be perfect for soup and making apple sauce, etc. I couldn’t be more disappointed. What a waste of 50 quid. I don’t think it’s returnable whilst having burnt potatoes and leeks still on the bottom and it’s not usable as it stands. After about 8 successful pots and about 13 attempts, I’ll just do more research on a better soup maker or simply use a pot and the hob and blitz it with my food processor instead. Don’t wast your money! How does it completely over spill when there is an indicator that beeps when it’s too full? No. Just no.
