Herbal tea has been integrated into the lives of people around the world since ancient times. It is not only a daily beverage for refreshment but also carries a rich tradition and historical wisdom. From the Chinese “Classic of Tea” to Indian Ayurveda and African tribal ceremonies, herbal tea holds a unique place in cultures worldwide.
The history of herbal tea dates back thousands of years. In China, the earliest records of herbal tea appear in the era of Shennong, the legendary god of agriculture and medicine, who tasted hundreds of herbs In Europe, the use of herbal tea also has a long history.
Prunella vulgaris has a subtle grassy aroma, making it a refreshing tea choice. Plantago tea smells pleasantly fresh, Lotus leaf tea is renowned for its unique fragrance, and perilla leaf tea is known for its distinct aroma. These herbs are commonly used to brew simple, natural teas.
In the process of making herbal tea, using the whole plant is an important concept. Many traditions believe that different parts of a plant(suchasleaves, flowers, roots, stems)possess different energies and therapeutic properties. For example, in making lotus leaf tea or Desmodium tea, the stems are also considered to contain health-beneficial components and are often used in their entirety.
Today, as people’s lives become busier, herbal tea, as a natural and caffeine-free way to relax, is becoming increasingly popular. It is not just a simple choice for quenching thirst or revitalization but also a reflection of a lifestyle. Through a cup of herbal tea, people seek a connection with nature and a form of spiritual peace and tranquility.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good quality, authentic BAMBOO leaves
*by on Reviewed in the United States May 6, 2021*

The product arrived as it appears in photos by the manufacturer. Real, sturdy bamboo leaves that are great for making tea! It has a very subtle, but earthy flavor and would benefit with the addition of a sweetener. After drinking this with honey (and sometimes fresh oregano) for a little over a week, I began to notice that my fingernails were becoming as hard as knives, so much to the point that I had to cut them to prevent from scratching my young daughter. I definitely saw less hair breakage, and the texture has also become more "straw like"....that's the best way that I can describe it. It seems less brittle but not as soft/pliable, if that makes sense. This is my first time buying bamboo leaves so I have nothing to compare them to, but overall I like them and would probably buy them again. *Would also like to add that I have sensitive skin and tend to be allergic to some grasses, leaves, etc., and I did not find that I had an allergic reaction to this product UNTIL I added milk in on one occasion. I would say that I had some sort of dermatitis on my arm that lasted a few days, and was very itchy. I didn't see it again once it cleared and after I refrained from adding milk to the bamboo tea.
