I've been going to the salon for years, but the price is getting so expensive and now with the gray, I'm having to go more often. So I've been on the hunt to do my own roots and prolong my visits. I finally got the nerve up to try this. It did cover my grays, however it also really darkened my highlights, especially the highlights that were dry and overprocessed. Hopefully it washes out some but I even put coconut oil on the ends and didn't saturate it, so this was just from rinsing my hair out! It is more of a dark blond/light brown, nothing like the picture. I'm not sure I would use this again unless I can figure out how to avoid the highlights. Maybe I try with more saturated coconut oil on them.
