I fitted an isolaton switch so their setup didn't fit mine, exactly. Also every vehicle is different in size and battery pacement. What’s wrong? I’ve wired up as per instructions but the rocker switch on turns on when held down.** A: It sounds like a faulty switch if it only works if you have to keep it pushed on OR your switch is not seated properly in your allocated slot **Q: 240w requires 20amp cable? The cable deliver is 16awg rated at 10. Is the 240w harness suitable for 20amp?** A: Yes **Q: Is the switch a permanent live as when my key is out of the ignition the lights still work?** A: I don't know the answer, but suggest that there must be some current getting past/through the switch, it takes very little to power LED lights.
