Review: Buy them, buy them now! - These are AMAZING, oh my goodness. I purchased Dr. Talbots 8-pack wide, bulky, diaper-ish version; they’ve got nothing on these. These were cheaper too. I had a stage 2 endometriosis excision that was noted as 50% more difficult than expected and very complex, plus a hysterectomy, an appendectomy and a cystoscopy, all in one go. Nearly 3 weeks post-op and I’m still using ice pads and packs several times a day. I like that the size is appropriate but also the liquid stays where its most needed and doesn’t interfere with sitting or walking (once it gets settled) as much as the first kind I tried. These stay put (I got the non adhesive type) on top of my thin pad and stay cold for a good amount of time, enough to where my pain/discomfort stops for a bit. I’m very pleased and will order more as needed. Medline is the best!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is it reusable**
A: No. It's exactly like a regular pad, only it doesn't have a sticky stripe and it is cool for about 20 minutes.

**Q: Do these have self adhesive strips on them?**
A: No, it does not come with an adhesive strip. I received a pacakage that has a green plastic cover and it doesn't come with a self adhesive strip. The image shows the product in purple plastic package, identical to the ones I had received from the hospital and those had a self adhesive strip. Having used one with adhesive strip (from the hospital) and one purchased from Amazon without the adhesive strip, I would say that the adhesive strip would not help much because it still would move around a little bit. Hope this helps.

**Q: How long does the product stay cold after activation ?**
A: I usually apply it at bedtime and I'm able to fall asleep using it.  I'm guessing it stays cold about 2 hours at the most.  I usually don't need to use another one during the night.  They work really well for me.

A: ABSOLUTELY. My L&d RN taught me to lay a few tucks on the pad then put it into the giant mesh pants!! SAVED MY LIFE!!! These are now my go to gift delivery for new mommies
