Review: great product but the cooking instructions yield soupy rice (fixable issue) - I ordered the original flavor (plain) and followed the cooking instructions exactly, but the end product was a little soupy. Per the instructions, I used 1-1/3 cups boiling water for the entire package; I will try 1 cup of water in the future. However, after refreigerating the soupy Right Rice overnight, I heated it in a saucepan and that took care of the extra liquid. I mixed the rice with browned impossible meat, minced sauteed mushrooms, kale, fresh peas, and tomato sauce-- it was fantastic! I never thought I would like a rice-like shape/texture in place of pasta, but I love it! The flavor is neutral and I look forward to experimenting with it further. The flavor was very slightly affected by the detergent/perfume aroma from the desertcart shipping pouch, so I will look into ordering directly from Right Rice. I'm tired of desertcart's blue & white plastic shipping pouches being doused in a heavy detergent/perfume scent that transfers to the contents. I've had to return several items that absorbed the detergent smell. I wish someone at desertcart would do something about this ongoing issue because it's ruining products for people who don't want their stuff to smell or taste like laundry detergent/perfume.

A: There is no nutritional info other than it has less carbs more protein etc. I need to know sugar and carb info. Can I please get that information?

A: EVERYONE READ THE DESCRIPTION! IT IS NOT LOW CARB IT IS LOWER CARB THAN WHITE RICE. AND YES 25G OF CARBS IS LOW CARB PER ONE COOKED CUP.  IT JUST ISNT KETO OR ATKINS LOW CARB. PLEASE LEARN WHAT A LOW CARB MEAL WOULD ENTAIL INSTEAD OF RELYING ON PACKAGES FOR ALL YOUR INFO. READ A NUTRITION BOOK FOR DIABTICS.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A good substitute.

Product arrived just as it was described (I ordered to "plain" flavor). I've only tried it once so far and it was just so-so; I wasn't a big fan of the taste by itself, however served under beef and gravy it was fine. I'm still learning the cooking process as mine was mushy, but in all fairness it could have been the amount of water and the time it sat in the pot before serving. I will try another pouch in the coming weeks; I'm not ready to give up on it yet!
