Review: Nice hacksaw for the price - Bought this to cut an aluminum bike steerer tube and it cut through it no problem. Blade is good and sharp, it's easy to increase the tension, and the rubber grip makes the saw comfortable to use. It does use quite a bit of plastic in the handle, so it probably wouldn't be a great choice for professional use or something, but for my occasional use it seems durable enough and should be just fine. Nice saw for 12 bucks.

A: Sorry,never tried.I would guess so even with the blade supplied.I have only used it on very old rusty nails.

Good inexpensive tool. The only detriment is the lack of a blade guard. Beyond that it's worked well for my home projects, cutting steel and PVC fairly easily.
