The downside of this is that it absolutely will not survive getting even the least bit wet. If you ride on wet pavement after rain, your tires will spray water up into your drivetrain, the lube will all wash off, and you will need to re-lube. This isn't that big a deal and shouldn't be considered a shortcoming of the product at all -- water resistance in lubricant is a tradeoff, and when you gain water resistance you also have to deal with increased viscosity, gumminess, and the tendency to become dirty faster. Epic Ride will pick up a little road grime, but stays relatively clean for a wet lube.I don't find that it lasts the advertised 70 miles. My chain (which is fairly new and is well taken care of) starts getting noisy again after about 40 to 50. However, I tend to reapply every 30ish anyway, so this isn't really a huge deal for me. I keep a small 4oz bottle in my  Topeak Aero Wedge Pack  for this purpose.If you ride in even slightly wet conditions with any regularity and don't want to deal with re-lubricating very frequently, you might want to check out another product like  White Lightning Wet Ride  (which I haven't used, but which comes highly recommended). Otherwise, there probably isn't a better overall lube around. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Tired of chain grease, tried this, love it *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on March 22, 2014* Eeeeewwwww, the mess of black chain grease, hate it, hate it, hate it. I found Epic Ride at a big box store, and I love it, love it, love it. I don't care if it requires more frequent applications, it makes for a better, smoother and CLEANER ride. I do not often say "I'm willing to pay more..." for anything! But in this case, there are only pros, and for that, I will reapply as needed and buy it by the gallon (or whatever is the largest size). I have also used White Lightning's Clean Ride (wax), it was fine, but Epic Ride offers the best ride. Oil lube - never again!!
