But his behavior has not changed, so I'm assuming the soft texture was comfortable for him underfoot, and it didn't smell strange to him. That is all that really counts.Now, the item comes folded in a bag, and even includes a sheet with tips for straightening out the creases after you unfold it, because the corners do lift a bit off the ground at first. Depending on where you put the mat, it could be a tripping hazard for someone walking by. But the corners are now lying flat, so it's just a matter of letting gravity do its job.
