A: Colored oil over colored water or something like that.   Looks nice, but it's kind of annoyingly noisy.

**Q: How long does the battery last?**
A: Hi, there! I am still on my first battery (size C). I've been running my machine at least 8 hours a day for over a week now and haven't seen any signs of my machine slowing down. It's a simple rocking motion and I doubt it uses very much power.
