This has been lovingly used for cheese, makes a beautiful and functional way to serve cheese and crackers/meats. It is perfect for enjoying a glass of wine and a bit of artisan cheese. It looks great in my kitchen as well. It has a hole to hang it if you like. I recommend moisturizing it every now and again with olive oil, keeps the patina and maintains the wood quality after cleaning and use.
