The mesh is easy to install, I finished my entire house in about an hour. Cut a strip off with scissors, fold, and push into the weep hole with the spatula. Pretty simple. I inspected the mesh this weekend, all have remained in place. So far, no mice in the walls. Even though I only cut about a six inch long strip to stuff in each hole, it works so well that it even caused ants to find a different hole in my mortar to use to gain entrance! I hadn't even noticed the ants until I saw them headed up the wall to a little hole in the mortar! (At that point, I was able to dust with ant poison.) I would not have guessed that this loose mesh could keep out ants, but once it gets stuffed in, the remaining holes are too small for these relatively large ants!
