Cons: I see some people complaining about how hard it is to compress to put in place. It is hard to compress and thus hard for it to fall out of place which is good... I am a big guy and lift lots of weights and you really need to compress this thing a lot to get it in place. I had to really focus and pull it down and I let my grip go by accident and it launched! It is very very tall and difficult to maneuver while installing as the poles fall apart from each other so easily and the baskets rest on split silicone rings so the whole thing has a tendency to disassemble itself. It was too tall for my shower even compressing the spring as much as possible. I tried using it without the short bottom pole, and it was too short. I ended up sawing about 6” off the bottom short pole to get it to fit. Once it it’s under a good amount of tension, but the point of contact on the ceiling is so small that it is far from sturdy. The areas of connection are clear weak spots, and the whole things just feels flimsy. As soon as I put some weight in the baskets, you can tell it won’t stay up. It seems pretty stable once set up with the tension spring pushing everything tight, but the pieces all just slide together without any sort of screws or fasteners so it's all loose components before you get it in place. Moving it into the shower without having it fall apart was a circus act and probably would have been much easier with two people. The tension spring takes some muscle to get in place, and the poles bow slightly to one side once sitting in the shower, but this isn't a big deal since you can just twist them so they lean inward towards the wall. I was worried initially about the baskets falling down since they aren't actually attached to the poles and just loosely slide over an adjustable rubber grommet, but they seem fine as long as you make sure they are pushed down tight. Just be careful to not accidentally hit one from the bottom as that could knock it out of place. Due to the nature of how they connect to the main pole, they are likely more stable with some weight in them. A small sheet of thin metallic tape is included to seal the seams between poles. A bit annoying to put on, but at least it's the same color of the metal finish so it doesn't really look out of place as long as you apply it cleanly. I'd recommend measuring your install location before you buy and reading the instructions carefully (there is a link to the PDF in the product description). Take note that you might have to cut the metal poles to make it fit properly in your shower.
