## Description

Just like the original Pixy, Pixy2 for Lego is a fast vision sensor for DIY robotics and similar applications. You can teach Pixy2 a colored object to track just by pressing a button. It’s capable of tracking hundreds of objects simultaneously and only provides the data you are interested in. New features include line following and onboard LED illumination. Pixy2 Lego works with Lego EV3 controller.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: is this compatible with arduino?**
A: Technically yes, the Pixy hardware is identical to stock Pixy2, but this version does not come with an Arduino cable. You would need to make your own, and also upload the stock firmware (this version comes loaded with Lego specific firmware). The other way to get a Lego and Arduino compatible Pixy2 is to buy the stock version of Pixy2, and then buy a Lego v2 cable (also available on Amazon). See instructions on the Pixycam wiki. Hope this helps!

**Q: Can I use this with a raspberry pi?**
A: My guess is that yes you can use it with a raspberry pi, but I've only used it with a beagle bone.

**Q: sirve para arduino ?**
A: Sí

**Q: I've seen videos of this device reading bar codes. Does it read QR codes?**
A: No, Pixy2 only reads a small set of special barcodes that are provided on the Pixycam website.

Smart features are terrible. The camera easily become faulty and non-responsive. Very expensive for what you will get. You can't use it as a webcam even if you change your mind to make some other uses.
