I have finished off three painted floors with this varnish. Great protection and ten months later they still look great with a good shine. **Q: Can this be used over brillant white vinyl matt paint on a MDF door.** A: I cant see why not it's great stuff, I made table matts and used it on them, they have stood up to a lot of abuse with not a sign of scratches. If it were me I would give it a go **Q: Can this be used on chalk painted air dry clay coaster? I used two coats on the small table and only one coat of the crates which I had ordered burnt effect so needed to seal them. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ The best *by P***2 on 23 August 2021* I have been using Polyvine varnishes since the 90's. I won't use anything else. From the decorators varnish, satin and matt, the wax varnish and now this one for my painted floorboards. I empty into a container and give a gentle stir as to not create any air bubbles, a flat very soft brush and did the floorboards in sections. The whole floor which was 12ft by 12ft square only took me 40 minutes. It was touch dry in less than an hour. I applied another coat after 3 hours and left it to cure for 24 hours. Rock hard, paint colour stayed the same and I tried the finger nail test, nothing, no scratch mark or any dig in mark.
