Even if you dont quilt they are beautiful to look at. Put one on your coffee table. The colors and designs are beautiful. He makes the best fabrics. All the quilts are presented in the most beautiful and interesting scenery. Each quilt contains instructions on how to make it, layouts, and there are templates for everything. I have purchased most of the books and enjoy looking at them. I plan on starting another Kaffe quilt soon. I just finished a small one via a special class I took on line and it taught me that you can go crazy with color and design and get out of your comfort zone. Review: 19 fabulous medallion quilts in Kaffe's style! - Gorgeous book! Gorgeous quilts! This book has complete directions, patterns, and templates for 19 medallion quilts - all in Kaffe Fassett's signature style! These "frame" quilts are done in the English tradition and are all photographed on location at the Hidcote Manor Garden in England. Most of the patterns included are not very intricate, but they look more complicated due to the busy fabrics. Some of the quilts presented have been in other books by Kaffe Fassett (in different fabrics), but there are new patterns also. Medallion quilts are my favorite style and this book is a real treat!
