**Q: Does this jack require the point pad for a Tesla Model 3?**
A: The jack has a flat surface, so the point pad would be recommended.

**Q: can you still open the lower well of the trunk with this kit inside the trunk of the car?**
A: It's not that big, and the Model 3 trunk is bigger than you think. We frequently travel with the spare in the trunk and the jack and jacking pucks in the sub-trunk. We still have room for three flight size suit cases. And this doesn't include the frunk or back seats (we don't have kids). We have been on many 500+ mile trips and always have the peace of mind knowing it is available if we need it (so far not needed).

**Q: Any significant change in mileage,with extra weight?**
A: None at all. I can’t even tell a difference in mileage with all my tools loaded in the car which weigh way more than the spare tire. The biggest factor is how heavy are you with the GO pedal and how fast you drive, those two will decrease your mileage dramatically.

**Q: Will the original tesla tire fit in the trunk. These are very large. You may have to abandon some luggage.**
A: The spare tire will fit in your trunk.  It will occupy a good portion of the trunk so depending on the size of the luggage, you may not have space, unless you use the back seat.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good product. Sloppy instructions. The jack could be more heavy duty.

First the complaints: I would feel better if the jack was more heavy-duty. Tesla batteries are HEAVY. The instructions are an unorganized mess. They repeat some info over & over in different spots. I can tell that they started with instructions for one kind of car, and adapted them for other cars, over & over again. Instructions like that are not what you want to plow through when you're on the side of the road (especially if it is dark and/or rainy). I copied the info, warnings, & diagrams, into Word and condensed it from 4 pages to 1.5 pages - but it took a long time. They should have done that to save all of us reading time. Now the complements: It is very nice that the outside diameter of the tire is close to that of the OEM tires, and that the wheel saves room in the trunk by being narrower than the OEM wheels. The tire is a good brand too. As a test, I put the spare wheel on my car in the driveway, and drove around the block. It was a good fit (as soon as I used the correct 5 holes). The need for a spare: I have changed many flat tires over my lifetime and find it annoying that Tesla (& certain other car makers) don't think spare tires are important. If I get a flat, I don't want to wait 2 hours hoping the mechanic will show up soon, especially when I could change the tire myself in 10 minutes. When I can, I prefer to be self-reliant instead of depending on others.
