I put it on the carpet in my apartment, at my desk to prevent wear to the carpet from the wheels on my chair. It's not suppose to be used with pile carpet but I rolled the dice because of the price. It flexes a little at each wheel but that's been ok, I'm at my computer daily for long hours and it has held up nicely. It has finally started to have mini cracks and fractures and is breaking down from a lot use. So, for me, it did very well for the price. Time to order another one, so I recommend. Review: Large office/gaming chair that is easy to assemble - This chair is being used as a work from home office chair, but it seems like it would work for a gamer too. It is relatively easy to assemble (90% can be done by yourself - at the very end it would be helpful if someone was there to sit in the chair to save it from spinning). Controls are straightforward and it is solidly built and comfortable. The two pillows (one for the neck/hard and one for the lower back/lumbar area) are not permanently affixed so they can be used optionally. I am 6' tall so the head/neck one will be a neck rest (I sit too high in the chair for anything else). My feet sit flat on the floor with the chair in its top height - so if you are over 6' 2" it may not work as well for you. Can't speak to the longevity at this point. Would recommend. ## Features - Thick and Sturdy: 2.2MM, More Thicker. Made of top-grade PVC material, these chair mats are thick and strudy yet very pliable to prevent cracking or shattering, durable and reliable for long-term use. - Effective Grip: Studded underside holds the mat firmly in place on carpet floors - Suitable only for use on Low and No Pilee carpets. - Move with Ease: The unique surface texture allows your office chair to move easily while carrying out daily tasks, but has enough grip to maintain controlled rolling so the chair doesn't skid around. Ease of rolling between tasks promotes ergonomic posture and helps to considerably reduce the risk of leg fatigue. - Eco-friendly: No off-gassing - odorless, free from BPA, phthalate, PVC and volatile toxins for a healthy indoor environment. - About Shipment: we ship rolled up in a box but once it was removed from the box and unrolled it straightens out after you walk on it or roll a chair on it for a few days. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B07H81XMPL | | Best Sellers Rank | #18,110 in Office Products ( See Top 100 in Office Products ) #35 in Carpet Chair Mats | | Brand | Kuyal | | Brand Name | Kuyal | | Color | Transparent | | Corner Style | Rounded | | Customer Reviews | 3.9 out of 5 stars 7,434 Reviews | | Item Dimensions L x W x Thickness | 48"L x 30"W x 0.09"Th | | Item Highlight | for Low, Standard and No Pile Carpeted Floors, with Studs (30" X 48" Rectangle) | | Item Weight | 5.5 pounds | | Manufacturer | Kuyal | | Manufacturer Part Number | KL-A-201 | | Material | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Material Type | Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) | | Model Number | KL-A-201 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | 30" X 48" Rectangle without Lip | | Style | Minimalist | | Style Name | Minimalist | | Surface Recommendation | Carpet | | UPC | 736900868753 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Weight Capacity Maximum | 5.5 pounds | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Kuyal - **Color:** Transparent - **Item Highlight:** for Low, Standard and No Pile Carpeted Floors, with Studs (30" X 48" Rectangle) - **Material:** Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC) - **Product Dimensions:** 48"L x 30"W x 0.09"Th - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Size:** 30" X 48" Rectangle without Lip - **Style:** Minimalist - **Surface Recommendation:** Carpet - **Unit Count:** 1 Count ## Images ![Office Chair Mat for Carpets,Transparent Thick and Sturdy Floor Mats - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71IVrESiXWL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Size** options. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Time to order another one *by R***T on June 24, 2024* I bought mine almost 3 years ago in Aug. I do notice wheel indents developing within the plastic sheet almost immediately. I hope it remembers to go back to the original flat shape over night. We will see and I will report back to you. Out of the box its a bit of a chore to unroll out flat using many heavy weights for a couple of hours in a warm room helped. ## Frequently Bought Together - Kuyal Office Chair Mat for Carpets,Transparent Thick and Sturdy Highly Premium Quality Floor Mats for Low and No Pile Carpeted Floors, with Studs (30" X 48" Rectangle) - Amazon Basics Classic Puresoft PU Padded Mid-Back Height Adjustable Office Computer Desk Chair with Armrest, 26"D x 23.75"W x 42"H, Black - Dimex Office Chair Mat for Low Pile Carpet with Lip, 36" x 48", Clear --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.kg/products/103754555-office-chair-mat-for-carpets-transparent-thick-and-sturdy-floor](https://www.desertcart.kg/products/103754555-office-chair-mat-for-carpets-transparent-thick-and-sturdy-floor) --- *Product available on Desertcart Kyrgyzstan* *Store origin: KG* *Last updated: 2026-10-03*
