If you crimp then trim excess it will not go in. **Q: Will these work on flat cables?** A: It depends on the cable. If you can separate the individual wires to do the proper termination then it should work as long as the cable is between 22-26awg **Q: What is the size (wxlxh) of this connector? does the opening fit cat6 cable stp (shielded twisted pair) solid-wire with od of 9mm-10mm?** A: This connector will take any standard CAT 6 cable. All cat 6 cables produced fall within a certain universal specification, or they could not be called CAT 6. The connector is physically 1cm wide 2cm long and .6 cm high the opening is about 8 cm wide. Again, standard Cat6 Cable.
