I'm an avid Iphone6+ photographer (Instagram larsjones666) and was really looking forward to using this after hearing some good things about it on the web, but I'm really disappointed. Where should I start?1) It's a great idea, but like many great ideas just doesn't seem to carry over into any practical reality.2) It doesn't fit over any phone case; so if you're going to use this, then leave your case behind and risk your phone. Any 2-piece rigid case worth having won't just snap on and off instantly when you want to take a photo---and many photo ops happen "now". I take my iphone to some extreme environments and conditions and it's still in one piece thanks to my case. I'm not sure the "advantages" of olloclip are worth the risk of losing my iphone (yes I have a protection plan) and especially its content.3) It doesn't even fit over the screen protector, and it tore mine right off.... c'mon folks!! Maybe Olloclip should make a case that's compatible with its clip?4) With the clip attached, the iphone doesn't seem to sense correctly the ambient light and adjust the display intensity properly. You won't be able to toggle to the front camera with this attached5) My Iphone doesn't seem to autofocus as well, as quickly, or as sharply with this thing attached---especially with the macro lenses6) I like the fisheye lens, and I could do a lot with it, but it crops the corners off in photo mode. Still it might be the one lens worth using. The wide-angle lens seems like it's halfway between the iphone lens and the fisheye, but if you're going wide, then either go panorama or go fisheye.7) Shut your screen off before putting this on and taking it off...8) The focal distances with the macro lenses seem very close (<1"?), but the depth of field in outdoor light still seems like it is about the thickness of a sheet of paper. Moreover, it proved virtually impossible to get an acceptably sharp image with either macro lens---especially hand-held. Maybe it would work in a studio with a tripod but not in a real environment. If I'm going through the hassle of bringing a tripod, I might as well use my Nikon D7100. The whole point of this attachment is to expand the options of hand-held cellphone cameras! I can get better quality macro images simply by blowing up carefully shot hand-held iphone images on an editing app (see my Instagram feed---most of those are just simple iphone images processed with Instagram editing tools)So, in conclusion, if you're even halfway serious about camera-phone photography, skip the olloclip. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Way better than the cheaper lenses *by E***U on Reviewed in the United States πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ on March 11, 2015* Great lense for the iPhone 6 plus. To clear some things up. 1) it does not scratch your screen, it may scratch a screen cover but not the actual iphone. 2) pictures and lenses are great quality with little to no decrease to pic quality. I bought an olloclip and an Mpow lense. You get what you pay for. The Mpow is much cheaper, but the picture quality is terrible and the lenses seem cheap. 3) it does suck that you can't have a cover on the phone, but to maintain the picture quality, I don't see anyway to make a lense that can fit all covers without compromising quality. If you know how too, then make one and become a millionaire. 4) it fits on the phone great and snug without moving around. If you want to see one that doesn't fit well, then buy a cheaper one too and see for yourself. And use the lense with their app and the lenses are even better. GREAT product. I highly recommend one. I had the Olloclip for the iPhone 5 and it was one of my favorite items. It did a great job of Macro photography.This new set for the iPhone 6+ is nothing like that one. Main issues: 1. Does not fit well. It's far too snug, goes on only with a lot of effort, tears up any screen protector you may have on your phone, and comes off only with great effort. I feel like I'm going to break my phone every time I put it on or take it off.2. It does not have nearly the optical clarity of my other Olloclip for iPhone 5. I don't know what happened to their quality control, but this image quality is awful.3. They took away the much needed "distance stabilizer" cups! Why would they take away the one thing that guaranteed you were shooting at the perfect distance from your subjects? It's nearly impossible to place the camera at the right distance from my photo subjects now. Examples are snowflakes. So easy to get macros of snowflakes with the old one. Now, practically impossible.I wish I had not paid so much for this product.
