I've not felt any need to wear liner socks. I'm wearing mid-weight boot socks - haven't had the opportunity to wear the light weight socks, but suspect they'll perform equally as well. **Q: ok I bought a 20.00 pr of socks how do I use the warranty a year later when they get bad with no regrstration availiable?** A: Keep your sales receipt, set your calendar and you will be surprised with proper care and best practice, great socks!!! **Q: Can you wear these with water sandals** A: If you choose to you can. But just like any other sock the moment they get water on them they will be wet and soggy.
