There are a few minor differences between the two. I would strongly recommend that you make sure to follow NEEDLE TATTING PATTERNS!! Some patterns can be adapted and work well with both styles, others… not so much. Pros: they work great!! The needle threader is top quality!!! I love it!! The little insert that comes with it is great for getting started!!! 10/10 Recommend!! Speedy delivery, packaged well. The only thing is, I wish they had included instructions on how to read thread information. Because I don’t know what I am picking up at the craft store.
